I have a big announcement!

This week, I realized how much I love and miss writing. I increased my writing and sharing dramatically in the past three years. I started a blog. started a newsletter (and a business). With the support of many of you, I wrote a book. But still, writing keeps slipping to the bottom of the priority list. Life, work, business, family, time with my cat on the couch (my favorite winter activity) - they all happen, and they need to happen. I love those things! But I want to write more. It’s an essential part of who I am. If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a coach and coachee over the past four years, it’s the power of accountability. When I’m held accountable by someone other than myself, something changes. I can show up more readily and more often, especially to hard things. I actually DO the things my heart and soul are calling for. I’m fairly certain the only reason I actually finished my first book was because it was the dying wish of my beloved mother. But now that it’s just me and my stories, poems, reflections, short stories and words, it’s so much easier to ignore this part of myself. No more, I say! One of my core beliefs is that if you don’t like something about your life, you can change it. I’m changing it! I started a Substack account to both support my writing financially and support myself to actually write on a consistent basis through accountability of having (you, hopefully) ready to read and receive my writing. My goal is consistency, and you all can help me with that!

Here’s how it works:

  • You choose a subscription plan that feels good to you, starting at $6/month and can know that you’re both financially and energetically supporting my writing

  • I share twice-a-month reflections, blog posts, poems, short stories, and previews/pieces of my novels and books.

  • Everyone wins!

I have a goal of 30 subscribers by February 1 - subscriptions start at $6/month! Can you help me reach my goal? The first 10 subscribers will receive a special thank you song and homemade thank you card from me! And, if you really want to go all out, you can choose to support me as a "founding member" and have access to an early-bird, free copy of my next book (timing TBD). Talk about accountability!

Check out one of my favorite poems here, entitled This is How the World Should Be, my first post on Substack, that I wrote months (years?) ago at this point and never shared. A preview, if you will, of what’s to come for paid subscribers!
